The Official Route

Official Members of the North Coast 500The North Coast 500 was established in 2015 by the North Highland Initiative (NHI), a non-profit organisation that was established in 2005 in an effort to develop economic growth across the North Highlands. The route is 516 miles of stunning coastal roads which curves around the edges of the Highlands. The North Coast 500 route begins and ends at Inverness Castle and takes you into many picturesque towns and villages like Ullapool, Durness, John O'Groats and Dornoch.
